The University of Alberta's Certificate in Computer Game Development begins with CMPUT250, where students get into interdisciplinary teams to create a 30 minute video game in RPGMakerMV. My team - The Glitter Party - created a story-focused bullet hell with psychological themes.
Dodge to fuel your ego or destroy your enemies to fuel your id, the consequences of your choices follow you to the end.
